Become A Precinct Chair

A precinct is the smallest political subdivision in Texas. Precinct Chairs are elected to oversee individual precincts. They are responsible for engaging directly with voters in their neighborhood.

PRECINCT CHAIRS:

  • Organize their neighborhood

  • Help get voters to the polls

  • Serve as a liaison between voters and elected officials

  • Connect volunteers to county efforts and local campaigns

  • Encouraging voters to participate in the Democratic Party Primary

  • Serve as member of the County Executive Committee
